  hen calculating structural members or connections, the specified strength design value shall be multiplied by the corresponding reduction coefficient.
  1 Single angle steel with single connection:
  1) The strength and connection are calculated by axial force multiplied by a coefficient of 0.85;
  2) Calculated stability by axial compression:
  Equidistant steel multiplied by coefficient 0.6+0.0015λ, but not greater than 1.0;
  The unequal edge angle steel connected by short edges is multiplied by a coefficient of 0.5+0.0025λ, but not greater than 1.0;
  The unequal edge angle steel connected by long edges multiplied by the coefficient of 0.70;
  The λ is aspect ratio, for the unconnected single angle steel bar, should be calculated according to the minimum radius of rotation, when λ<20, take λ=20;
  2 Unpadded single side welding butt weld multiplied by coefficient 0.85;
  3. High-altitude installation weld and rivet connections with poor construction conditions multiplied by a coefficient of 0.90;
  4 Sink and semi-sink rivet connections multiplied by coefficient 0.80.
  Note: When several cases exist simultaneously, the reduction coefficient should be multiplied by one.
